Public Asked For Views On Road Safety

The Island needs to find out what the main cause of road accidents is and how to try to prevent them.

That’s according to the Road Safety Manager at the Isle of Man Constabulary Samantha Heard.

She wants to see proper data-based evidence on what causes accidents ahead of forming an island wide road safety strategy.

It's the first time such a strategy for the Island has been examined.

Members of the public have already been asked for their views on the issue
