The first in the series of a number of budget meetings takes place on the Island tonight.

It's the first time such meetings have been held ahead of the Budget.

Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan says they will provide an opportunity for members of the public to express any concerns they have.

Tonight’s meeting takes place in Ramsey Town Hall between 7 and 9pm.

Other meetings will be held in Castletown Town Hall on the 22nd, the Manx Legion Club in Douglas on 24th and Peel Town Hall on 25th.
