New TT Access Road

It’s been announced that the Department of Infrastructure wants to replace the current TT Access Road with a two-way carriageway.

It's hoped the new road will be in place for the TT 2022, although the DoI would need to secure funding from the Treasury.

Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer has announced the plans at this month's sitting of Tynwald.

The finer details of the plan will be completed in the next few weeks.
