Police have seized more weapons so far this year on the Island than in any of the last five years.
Figures, obtained through a Freedom of Information request, show 28 have been confiscated, including knives, blunt instruments and firearms.
A spokesperson for the Constabulary says it’s happy the number is relatively low, but is concerned about ease of ordering weapons online.
