Spiked drinks on increase

Tue, 25 Sep 2018

Police on the Isle of Man have seen a rise in reports of 'drinks spiking' since 2012.

A Freedom of Information request revealed the force received 11 reports from April 2017 to 2018.

They all included the words 'drink' and 'spiking' or 'lacing'.

The records from Isle of Man Constabulary go back to 2012 - officers dealt with only 2 reports from 2012 to 2015.
