Weather delays TV Transmitter repairs

Engineers have today been unable to fix a transmission fault in the South of the Island.

Poor weather conditions prevented the engineers and replacement parts arriving from the UK to fix the Port St Mary transmitter.

Television viewers have complained about poor signal and frequent dropping out of non-BBC channels on Freeview.

The Communications Commission is expecting the fault to be fixed tomorrow.
