Several vehicles have been damaged after the roof of a Douglas hotel blew off in strong winds.
A partial section of the roof collapsed at the Palace Hotel earlier today as the Island was battered by Storm Ali.
A similar incident happened last October during a storm. No one was injured.
Jason Moorhouse MHK was at the Palace and witnessed the debris flying. He posted on Facebook "A gust of wind blew a massive section of the roof (asphalt) into the middle of the car park...A sudden and massive bang. I had been stood there 5 minutes earlier in a dust storm..."
