Engineers believe they have identified the fault causing poor signal problems for television viewers in the South of the Island.
Viewers who are served by the Port St Mary transmitter has complained about poor signal and frequent dropping out of the non BBC channels on Freeview.
In a statement, the Communications Commission told Energy FM: "We are in regular contact with the relevant organisation which manages the television transmitters and an engineer has been to the site to investigate."
"The likely cause of the problem is believed to have been identified and a replacement part is being couriered to the Island. "
It is expected that the problem will be fixed by this afternoon (Wednesday).
