Record year for IOM Cruise Industry

It’s been a record year for the Island when it comes to cruises.

2018 has seen its highest ever number of ships come here, with 24 ferrying over 8 thousand 300 passengers to the Island, along with more than 5 thousand crew members.

There was also a 20 percent increase from 2017 in the number of cruise passengers joining in organised shore activities, with almost 4 and a half thousand enjoying guided tours, heritage sites, vintage transport and entertainment.

38 cruise vessels are already booked to travel here next year, with more than 12 thousand passengers expected.
