A18 Mountain Road Closed Again Next week

The Mountain Road will close for five days next week for work to fix two collapsed culverts.

The Department for Enterprise will also be using the opportunty to move Mountain Course furniture following the Festival of Motorcycling last month.

The route will be shut to vehicles and pedestrians between Lheaney Road in Ramsey and the Creg-ny-Baa Back Road from 9:30am on Monday 17th September until 4pm on Friday 21st September.

Parking will be suspended through Laxey 8am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm each day during the closure to help the flow of commuter traffic.

Access to properties will be maintained.
