Stay away from Seal pups

A baby pup, spotted recently on the Calf of Man

A wildlife charity is warning nature lovers to stay away from seals during the upcoming annual breeding season.

The first pup of the season has been spotted on the Calf of Man.

While pups may look cute and harmless, they have extremely sharp teeth and can become aggressive if approached, the Manx Wildlife Trust warned.

Both the Atlantic Grey seal and the Harbour or Common seal can be found in Manx waters.
