Bad smell in the North

Ramsey Town Commissioners have recieved a number of complaints regarding an unpleasent smell in the north of the Island.

The odour has been reported to be in the area of The Vollan and at the Civic Amenity Site / Sewerage Treatment Works at Balladoole.

Manx Utilities say they are aware of the smell and have launched an investigation.

The company says it could be attributed to a number of factors such as the weather.
