A group of young people with an interest in the police force will begin their training to become police cadets tomorrow.
16 teenagers were selected out of 100 applicants.
The Isle of Man Constabulary launched the cadet scheme in 2013 to give 16-18 year olds an insight into how the service operates.
They’ll be taught about the law, police procedures and first aid.
Inspector Mark Britton says the cadets will also have the opportunity to go on patrol with experienced officers.
