Commissioners urge smokers to take responsibility for cigarette butts

One of the Island's local authorities is urging smokers to dispose of their cigarette butts properly.

Castletown Town Commissioners has described the number of cigarette ends discarded on the town's streets as unacceptably high.

The board wants smokers to take responsibility for their litter and show pride in where they live and work.
