Government seeks feedback on charity proposals

The Manx Government is seeking feedback on plans to update the Island's laws on charities.

The proposed Charities Registration and Regulation Bill would establish a modern register of charities carrying out work on the Island and increase reporting requirements to ensure accountability.

The Bill would also allow charities from England and Wales to conduct charitable activities on the Island.

Those wishing to respond have until October 5th.
