TT Course to close today for MGP Newcomers race

The TT Course will close later this morning for an additional day of Festival of Motorcycling action after the weather caused delays yesterday.

Three races as well as a number of practices had been scheduled for Monday, but wet roads and poor visibility resulted in a lengthy delay, preventing the Manx Grand Prix Newcomers race from going ahead.

As a result, the course is due to close at 11.30am, with the four-lap race getting underway at 12.15pm.

The race will be followed by a two-lap practice for a number of other MGP classes before the roads open at around 4.15pm.
