The Chief Minister insists the Manx Government isn't ignoring the possibility of a no-deal Brexit.

The UK Government published a series of technical notices, including arrangements in case an agreement between the UK and the European Union isn't agreed.

Howard Quayle believes it's unhelpful to speculate on the outcome and potential consequences of Brexit negotiations, but that it's also irresponsible to ignore the possibility of a no-deal scenario.

Mr Quayle says his Government is working to ensure the Island is well positioned whatever the outcome.

UK Technical Notices will be published on the Isle of Man Government's website as they're released, with comments from relevant Departments on the potential impact on the Island.
