Fire crews were called to the animal waste processing plant on Richmond Hill after smoke was seen coming from the boiler room.
Teams were asked to attend the facility just before 11am yesterday.
Once the power had been isolated, crews with breathing apparatus used a thermal imaging camera to look for the source of the smoke, and were able to confirm there were no signs of fire.
Firefighters remained at the scene for around 50 minutes to ventilate the area before allowing workers at the plant back into the building.
