Extra practice session cancelled

This afternoon's additional Festival of Motorcycling session has been cancelled due to the weather conditions.

The extra practice had been scheduled after weather problems earlier this week prevented riders getting enough time on the TT course.

After an initial delay of an hour, organisers decided the wet conditions will prevent the Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix qualifying laps from taking place this afternoon.

Roads are still due to close at 6pm for this evening's practice.

Another extra session has been added tomorrow afternoon, with the opening day of racing scheduled for Saturday.
