Extra MGP, Classic TT practice added after more weather disruption

An extra practice session for the Festival of Motorcycling has been added after the weather halted another practice last night.

Tuesday's schedule was cut short after low mist covered the course earlier than expected.

As a result, an extra qualifying session will be held on Thursday afternoon, ensuring riders have enough time to practice before racing gets underway on Saturday.

Roads will close at 12.30pm on Thursday and reopen at 4.30pm, before shutting again in the evening.

Roads around the TT course are also due to close this evening for Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT practices, opening no later than 9pm.
