Police are reminding those who use a provisional driving licence that the licence is only valid in its country of origin.
Officers from the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team stopped a rider visiting for the Festival of Motorcycling yesterday who was using a provisional licence, which isn't valid on the Island.
The police warn only Manx provisional licences should be used by those driving or riding on the Island's roads.
Anyone coming to the Island using a provisional licence from elsewhere will be breaking the law if they use the Island's roads.
