Peel Coastguard crews were called out to tackle an oil pollution incident in Peel Harbour.
A team arrived at the scene and determined two boats next to each other to be the possible cause of the pollution.
A boom was placed around the two vessels and further booms placed downstream to prevent the oil spreading.
The coastguard handed over control of the clean-up operation to the Department of Infrastructure and returned to the station just under two hours after being called out.
