The Department of Education, Sport and Children says the A* to B pass rate for Manx A Level students saw a considerable increase this year.
The overall pass rate on the Island was 98.4% - up from 97.6% in 2017, while those receiving the top marks increased by 5% to 51.1%.
Around 350 Year 13 pupils entered approximately 1,000 A Levels in almost 50 subjects.
It's expected 70% of those who received results yesterday will take up places at university, while a quarter will enter full-time employment.
