New Second Deemster sought

The Manx Government is inviting applications for a new Second Deemster.

The role is a Crown appointment made by the Queen, and will be responsible for preparing for trials, presiding over court proceedings and giving judgment.

The previous Second Deemster, Andrew Corlett, was recently named First Deemster and Clerk of the Rolls.

The role will be filled by an advocate, barrister or solicitor with knowledge of the Island's courts and laws.
