Fire crews called out after reptile tank catches fire

Fire crews were called out in Castletown after a reptile tank caught fire.

An element in the tank set fire to the item, which set off the smoke alarm and alerted the owners.

The fire was confined to the tank and no injuries were reported.

The fire service highlighted the importance of having a working smoke alarm installed following the incident.
