The Government has received almost £80,000 over the last three years for hiring out the Villa Marina's Royal Hall to a church.
Since 2015, Living Hope Community Church has spent £76,922.71 the hire the venue and receive technical assistance using equipment at the Villa such as projectors and screens.
The church receives a 1/3 charity discount for some of its events, but pays the full commercial rate for its annual Four12 conference.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture received over £25,000 from the church for use of the venue in 2016, and has charged the organisation over £12,000 so far in 2018.
