The Castletown Festival is appealing for festival-goers to act responsibly at today's event.
The committee has appealed through social media for under 18s not to bring alcohol to the event and for all in attendance not to bring glass into the square.
Police have warned those acting inappropriately at this year's event will be dealt with robustly.
The festival organisers are also warning pet owners in the area that a fireworks display will take place at 10.30pm.
Market Square and Parade and Barrack Square will be closed until 11pm.
