One of the Island's local authorities has announced it will be cutting back on water usage in support of the hosepipe ban.
Commercial organisations are exempt from the Manx Utilities ban, but Douglas Borough Council says it supports the need to save water.
The Council waters around 500 floral displays each week, so will use non-drinking water extracted from Council-owned land, as well as reducing the frequency of watering while the ban remains in place.
Douglas Golf Course won't be affected as the facility is already watered using extracted non-drinking water.
