A ceremony is taking place this evening to mark the 45th anniversary of the Summerland fire disaster.
Mayor of Douglas Councillor Jonathan Joughin will preside over a short ceremony at the Kaye Memorial Garden on Queen's Promenade.
Members of Douglas Borough Council will also be in attendance, while the public are also invited to attend.
The Mayor will delivery a short address at 7pm before laying a wreath in memory of those who lost their lives.
50 people died when the leisure complex was destroyed by fire in 1973.
