Mountain Road re-opens but visibility still poor

Police are urging motorists to take care while driving on the Mountain Road.

Foggy conditions mean visibility is poor on the route, which had to close for a period this morning following a number of collisions.

Crashes at Kate's Cottage and the Creg-ny-Baa have now been cleared, so police have been able to re-open the road.

However, officers say the visibility is still very poor and are appealing for those travelling there to drive to the conditions.
