Pre-school credit applications open

The Department of Education, Sport and Culture is now taking applications for pre-school credit awards.

A credit of £3,420 is available to the parents and guardians of children who have their fourth birthday in the next academic year.

Those who receive the credit will be given a letter within five working days to present to their chosen pre-school provider, who will claim the payment from the Department.

The DESC is also still taking applications for the 2017-18 academic year for those who turned four between September last year and the end of this month.

Applications can be submitted online through the Government's website.
