Lintin no longer in critical condition

Wed, 01 Aug 2018

Ivan Lintin is no longer in a critical condition following his crash at the Southern 100.

Dafabet Devitt Racing provided an update on the rider's condition, revealing he remains in a Liverpool hospital but is now in a stable condition and due to be moved nearer to his home.

The team described his progress as amazing but that he still has a long road ahead on his recovery.

Lintin's parents and girlfriend have also given the team their blessing to take part in the Ulster Grand Prix with Dominic Herbertson and Paul Jordon on their bikes.

The statement also thanked well-wishers for their continuing support.
