Further repairs had to be carried out to the Ben-my-Chree after it returned to service following a turbocharger failure.
The vessel returned after two days of repairs yesterday lunchtime, but needed more work during its crossing to Heysham.
The Ben had originally been due to dock at the Lancashire port at around 3.15pm, but didn't arrive until 5.10pm while engineers fixed the problem.
As a result, the remainder of yesterday's crossings were delayed, and this morning's 8.45am service has also been put back until 11am.
