The Ben-my-Chree has returned to service following repairs to the vessel's turbocharger.
The vessel left for Heysham shortly before midday, almost three hours later than scheduled.
Engineers have been working to repair the Ben since Saturday morning after the boat suffered a failed turbocharger and engine room fire.
As a result, the return crossing to Douglas at 2.15pm is now due to depart at 4.45pm, with the later crossings also being pushed back.
The Manannan's Liverpool services are also running behind schedule due to the fastcraft being used for an extra sailings overnight while the Ben was undergoing repairs.
