The Ben-my-Chree is due to return to service today following repairs to a failed turbocharger.
The Steam Packet Company vessel suffered a technical issue and engine room fire while arriving in Douglas on Saturday morning.
Repairs were carried out overnight on Saturday but more parts had to be delivered from the UK, resulting in yesterday's services being cancelled.
The Island's ferry operator worked with specialists from the manufacturer to repair the turbocharger yesterday in a bid to have the Ben ready for this morning's crossing to Heysham.
