A ceremony will take place later this week to commemorate the Summerland fire disaster.
Douglas Borough Council has confirmed the anniversary of the disaster will be marked at the Kaye Memorial Garden on Queen's Promenade on Thursday evening.
It will be the 45th anniversary of the fire, which resulted in 50 deaths and destroyed the seven-storey leisure complex.
The mayor will deliver a short address and lay a wreath at the memorial garden, which was commissioned to mark the 40th anniversary of the fire in 2013.
