Accessible entrance opened at Douglas Town Hall

A new entrance has been opened at Douglas Town Hall in a bid to make the facility more accessible.

The ramped entrance is on John Street, providing an obstacle free route to the main reception.

The work involved converting an existing window into a door with a push to open mechanism.

It's hoped the new entrance will benefit wheelchair users and others with limited mobility.
