Port Erin beach reopens following inspection

Port Erin beach is fully open again following an inspection this lunchtime.

Port Erin Commissioners and the Isle of Man Coastguard confirmed no evidence of fuel pollution remains in the area.

As a result, the local authority says the site is now available for all to use and enjoy.

The beach had been shut at the high water mark since Sunday following a diesel spill.
