Summerhill Glen closed for resurfacing

Summerhill Glen will be closed for the next four weeks while the footpaths there are resurfaced.

Douglas Borough Council has closed the whole site from today until August 20th to allow the work to go ahead.

The local authority is urging the public to comply with the closure notice and not enter the site while work is being undertaken.

The Council says closing the entire glen allows its workers to use heavy plant equipment and complete the resurfacing as quickly as possible.
