A four-week roadwork scheme is getting underway in the west of the Island today.
Glen Maye Road between Patrick Road and Glen Maye village will be closed daily between 9am and 4pm to allow the route to be resurfaced.
The road closure means bus services will be suspended after the 8.35am service to Peel until the 3.54pm service to Niarbyl to allow the work to take place.
The work has been schedule to take place during the school holidays and the road will remain open at weekends.
The scheme will also be paused during the Royal Manx Show to ensure the road can be used by visitors and exhibitors, while a diversion route will be signed throughout.
