Police investigate damage at Kirk Michael park

Police are investigating an act of vandalism is in the west of the Island.

Items of plastic have been set alight over the last week in the play park next to the Main Road in Kirk Michael, causing damage to recreational equipment and the grass nearby.

Officers are urging those responsible to consider the dangers of fire given the recent spell of dry weather, which heightens the risk of fire spreading.
