NSC pools to close next month for £4.2m refurbishment

A £4.2m scheme to refurbish the swimming facilities at the National Sports Centre will get underway next month.

The competition and leisure pools will close from August 4th for nine months, reopening in time for TT next year.

The project will involve replacing the movable floor in the competition pool and the two flume rides, which are 20 years old.

A zero-depth wet play area will be created next to the leisure pools and the changing areas will be refurbished.
