UK motorcyclist dies in crash at Brandywell

A motorcyclist from the UK has died following a crash on the Mountain Road.

The 27-year-old visitor was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of a collision at Brandywell at around 7.30pm yesterday.

The rider's motorbike collided with a car - the occupants of the car were taken to hospital and later released.

Officers want to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity at the time of the collision.
