Police warn officers will be carrying out checks in the north of the Island following complaints about motorists speeding and using mobile phones around road works.
The Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team has received complaints about drivers in the area of Greenlands Avenue.
As a result, police officers will be patrolling the area around the Lezayre Road road works until the scheme is complete, and dealing with any offences robustly.
Officers are also reminding motorists that the diversion through Greenlands Avenue is only for residents, and that all other traffic should be using the St Jude's cross roads diversion.
