Southern 100 rider in critical condition

A Southern 100 rider is in a critical condition following an incident during last night's practice.

Tom Robinson has been transferred to a hospital in the UK following the incident in the opening practice session at this year's event.

The incident happened during the 600cc session, which resulted in the practice being red flagged.

He was initially taken by helicopter to Noble's but has since been taken to the UK for further treatment.
