The future of nursing and residential care will be discussed at this month's sitting of Tynwald.
The Isle of Man Government is looking to replace its current system for funding residential care.
An options and next steps report will be presented to the court, highlighting a number of options for the future.
The report recommends a similar system to Jersey's model should be set up on the Island as well as Asset Protection Guarantee, and calls for more public engagement and investigations into the option.
It's expected the Island's population of over 65s will increase from 17,000 to 22,500 by 2032.
