Commissioners warn of raw sewage on Laxey beach

One of the Island's local authorities is urging the public to avoid bathing in the sea at Laxey following a report of raw sewage.

A member of the public reported raw sewage along the tide line in Laxey to Garff Commissioners.

Manx Utilities have been informed, but the Commissioners are warning bathers to stay away from the area until an update has been issued.
