Drone owners warned not to fly near Southern 100 course
Sat, 07 Jul 2018
Drone users are being reminded not to fly their devices around the Billown Course during practices or racing.
The Southern 100 begins on Monday, and the Isle of Man Civil Aviation Administration is warning the public that flying drones around the course is prohibited.
Drones could be a risk or distraction to riders as well as posing a threat to the medical helicopter.
The course is also too close to the Isle of Man Airport for routine drone operation outside the races.
