The future of the Isle of Man Post Office will be discussed at this month's sitting of Tynwald.
Chair of the Post Office Julie Edge will make a statement at the July sitting, providing an update on the five year strategy for the board.
Meanwhile, Ayre & Michael MHK Tim Baker has tabled a motion, asking Tynwald a formally recognise the social value of the Post Office and the role it plays in the future delivery of public services.
He's also calling for the Council of Ministers to ensure the long-term future of the organisation benefits Manx residents, as well as requiring CoMin to report back to Tynwald with its plans for the future by the end of 2018.
