Planning permission sought for Noble's Hospital phone mast

One of the Island's telecoms providers is seeking planning permission to install a mast and two antenna at Noble's Hospital.

Sure wants to install a range of equipment at the hospital, including a 12m high lattice tower, mobile phone antenna and a LOS dish.

The company says it needs to improve its signal strength around the hospital site as it's now the provider of mobile phone services to the Isle of Man Government, which includes the health services, and staff, patients and visitors have reported that the signal isn't currently good enough.
